It’s been another three months since I last checked in with my birthday goals. It is hard to believe that in three more months I will be making a new set of goals. I better get my 9-month check-in for my birthday goals: 2018 before I start creating my 2019 goals! In an effort to be real and honest, I need to be forthcoming, even if it means I am completely off from my goals. I mean, I still have 6 more months 3 more months right?!? So here it goes!
Update 2018 goals: December check-in
- Okay, I stated Girl, Wash Your Face. I’m not sure I am going to finish it anytime soon (see #11).
- I am exercising! Especially if you count tag with Zach.
- Fruits and veggies…more like take out. 🙁
- My husband and I are about to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. Every year he follows the anniversary gift guide. I never look to see what each year will bring but in the past, it has been items like cotton, paper, tin. He always finds a creative twist to these items. (Needless to say, we have a guaranteed date on the book)
- Sometimes I get up super early just to spend time with him before he goes to work.
- Kids are getting plenty of quality time. (And I read plenty of children’s books)
- I let Sydney and Zach use an entire bottle of glitter. We found glitter for days and in places glitter should never be! Zach even built an entire robot out of found-objects around the house. So their creativity is being fostered!
- Lauren has her first performance this weekend and continues to constantly dance EVERYWHERE.
- I feel like my cup is full with all of the love and support from my friends.
- This has been the most amazing year for my photography business. Not only do I photograph some of the nicest couples and families I have also built wonderful relationships with other businesses and made more photography friends.
- I know why I haven’t been reading books… It is because I have invested in and have been busy with four new courses for my business that will directly impact my clients in the best way possible. I officially passed the 30 hours of continuing education over the summer and officially lost count of how many hours.
- My goal of being in front of the camera resulted in the images below: These moments are priceless!!
The last three months I have been better about self-care. This includes:
Making sleep a priority
Making sure I take at least 20 minutes for myself each day
listening to music & stretching
