Next week this gorgeous girl will be graduating from high school! And I can only imagine all of the wonderful offerings life has in store for her. Next year, Erica will be working on her general studies as she pursues a Visual Arts degree. We were needing a location as beautiful and had as much promise as our graduate. So naturally, we chose the Desert Botanical Gardens for our Senior Graduation Photography Session.

Spring is one of the most beautiful times to photograph in the desert. Believe it or not, we had to reschedule our session due to rain and an overly chilly spring. (Virtually unheard of in Phoenix.) But when our session finally took place the weather and location did not disappoint us. Phoenix’s own Desert Botanical Gardens is almost a metaphor for this graduating senior. The location is breathtaking and has endless potential to bloom.

Styling Erica’s Senior Graduation Photographs

Erica chose three unique outfits for our Senior graduation photography session at the Desert Botanical Gardens. First, she was wearing black denim jeans with a casual tank. Next, Erica put on a cream long sleeve top and light blue dress. Finally, the maroon spaghetti strapped floral dress that we knew would be the show stopper. I could have photographed Erica in that dress all day long. But what I will remember most was not the outfits. It will be how excited Erica is for her future. Go Class of 2019!

First of all, thank you, Melissa and Chris, for having me capture another one of your graduating seniors! Erica, your future is bright! Enjoy the next few years as you make your way through this brand new adventure. Congratulations again Erica!
