Family Photography Session: Anthem Park

They were arriving close to 6 PM for their family photography session at Anthem Community Park. With summer fast approaching, one of the challenges with golden hour photography sessions is the later starting times. Knowing how beautiful the lighting would be at that time, I promised everything would be great, even if it wasn’t perfect. Prior to our photography session, the big concern was the one factor no one could predict, sweet Jack, blonde, smiley, and adorable. It was also near his bedtime. But, like most photography sessions, everything was better than one could hope for.

You would have never known our photography session would end long after Jack’s typical bedtime. Jack was happy and easy going with sweet dimples and his expressions were priceless and genuine. Even when, for a brief moment, he let out a quick cry, it was cute as could be! And then there were his eyes. Jack’s eyes are as blue as the ocean, bright and curious! As Jack would smile, you could see those bottom two teeth peek out. There is nothing cuter than an everchanging baby smile. From gummy to newly cut teeth, there is something so special about how quickly everything changes.

One of my favorite parts of capturing families is seeing the love between them. You can tell both Erinn and Tyler have enjoyed seeing each other in their new roles as parents. Fiercely loving and protective of each other and Jack. As they took turns having individual photographs taken with Jack, they would cheer for one another. And on occasion, Erinn would be unable to control a sweet sigh as Tyler and Jack would do something cute, as to say, those two are mine.

Thank you, Erinn and Tyler, for taking a chance on a past Jack’s bedtime photography session. Jack did great! It was so much fun watching you interact as a family. You can tell by the way you encourage and support each other, you live in a house filled with love. I’m excited to see what the future holds for your family!!
